This growing expression is fast becoming a movement.  The expression is used by Slyy, and is the title of one of his singles.  The lyrics of the tune strongly express the need to stop the violence in the streets.  It has gained the attention of President Clinton, the NAACP, the Washington Post newspaper and others that immediately recognize the value and urgent necessity in the message.

The public is all too familiar with violence being an everyday occurrence, through the media, and too often , first hand.   It is a problem that plagues everyone, from the midst of the inner city ghettos, to push upper-class suburbia.  No one is exempt from its reach!

Slyy is dedicated to using  his recording to stimulate the urgency to Stop the Violence. The campaign theme well built around the song's title Peace to the Streets.   The campaign will include:

          CD Singles/Cassettes
          Video
          Live performances by Slyy
          Peace to the Streets gear (the-shirts, hats, backpacks, etc.)
          Peace to the Streets Stop the Violence community events in outdoor  venues such as shopping center/mall parking lots   (coordinated with local support)
